Lil Xan

Lil Xan (born September 6, 1996) is an American rapper based in Los Angeles, California​​. He is best known for his breakthrough songs "Been Bout It", "Xanarchy", "Montana Doe", and "Slingshot".


Biography

Xan is originally from Redlands, California​.[13]​ School was never for him and he dropped out of high school his freshman year.[17]

Lil Xan first tried Xanax​ in 2014. At first, he was cautious about taking pills, but once he saw his friends dissolving Xanax in soda, drinking became his preferred way of taking it.[17]​ Xan's favorite drink to mix Xanax with is Mountain Dew​ Voltage[17]

Xan first started getting tattoos​ when he was 18 on his hands. His philosophy when it comes to tattoos is that they should be seen. Xan would soon get tattoos on his neck and face. The meaning of some of his face tattoos include "Candy" is his mother's name and "Zzz" which comically represents his Xanax use


Influences

In an interview with Lyrical Lemonade, Lil Xan stated that one of his inspirations for his sound is Playboi Carti​.[13]​ One of his favorite artists is Mac Miller
