Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard (born 17 August 2003), professionally known as The Kid Laroi (stylized as The Kid LAROI.), is an Australian rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in Sydney, but raised in rural Australia, he originally gained recognition from his association and friendship with late rapper Juice Wrld. Juice Wrld mentored him while he was on tour in Australia. Laroi's domestic fame rose rapidly at the peak end of the 2010s when he toured Australia with Juice Wrld, off the back of an interview with No Jumper, and major music production company Lyrical Lemonade posted the music video for the song "Let Her Go". Laroi's fame continued to skyrocket into 2020 with his single "Go" featuring Juice Wrld, which peaked at number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100. He is also known for his songs "Diva" (featuring Lil Tecca), "Addison Rae", "Tell Me Why", "Wrong" (featuring Lil Mosey) and "So Done". His debut mixtape F*ck Love (2020) peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard 200.[4]
